A perfect fall weekend

rainy, but beautiful
spent Friday enjoying a delicious dinner
I didn't have to cook (even better)
A Saturday sleep in
Coffee, bacon, scrambled eggs with peppers and onions
another delicious meal, not made by me
(how lucky am I)
Off to a football game - ugly weather, bright t-shirts
glad to be back, one week off is just too much
Back garden for beers, flip cup, mini-burgers
great catch up
A buddy walk across the street
more games, more laughs, how lucky am I
Home to bed
Another rainy morning sleep in
Another delicious breakfast ( i made the bacon)
Friends over
beer, chicken wings and so much fun
another perfect weekend
even though beach mornings are nowhere to be found.

About Me
- SuzeandSil
- Suze and Sil are 2 twenty five year olds managing life in Manhattan - we want to travel the world, but are finding our very own adventures in New York as we go. The idea for the blog came to us as we sat in Grand Central station eating watermelon from the market, after getting free facials at Origins upstairs. Our good friend was embarking on a year long round the world trip - South America, Greece, India and beyond, and we were just excited about our trip across the river (by tram!) to Roosevelt Island for our touch football game that afternoon. We realized adventures can be around the world in 80 days, or up to Harlem on the subway to see the Little Red Lighthouse under the Great Gray Bridge. We don't have to leave this island to find fun, but we will sometimes - we might spend $2 we might spend $200 (Lilly Pulitzer dresses are Suze's weakness, fabulous bags and cool sneakers are Sil's). We are two lucky girls with a penchant for adventure and a knack for finding ourselves in curious situations - we figured we may as well start writing them down so when we are old and gray sitting on the porch of Suze's lighthouse we can remember all our fabulous times.
